I have always loved clean lines and minimal decor, so it was easy to love. Embrace a neutral color palette.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"white-space: pre-wrap;\">2. Less is more.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"white-space: pre-wrap;\">3. Bring nature indoors.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"white-space: pre-wrap;\">4. Lighting is key.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"white-space: pre-wrap;\">5. Start with white walls and light wood flooring to brighten up the space. You can do this by adding greenery, real or faux, and using natural elements like wood and cement in your furniture and decor. From bright walls, to light flooring, and open windows, the goal is to bring as much natural light into the space as possible. Scandinavian countries see very little natural lighting in winter months and incorporate other lighting sources to make up for it.
