Today we clean and organize the laundry room. Just Today we clean and organize the laundry room. Just putting everything away made a HUGE difference! I went ahead and really scrubbed the room while I was at it. This is one of those rooms I don't clean as often as I could. Today I cleaned out and organized our media center Today I cleaned out and organized our media center! I was going to wait to post photos until I came up with a prettier solution for our blanket storage, but this is real life folks! Everything doesn't have to be perfect and pretty. Not even for Instagram. I pulled everything out, wiped it down and organized the following things that we store inside: ✔️Movie/Video Game Organization: I donate or pitch any movies we can stream for free, any scratched movies, or movies our family doesn't watch anymore. ✔️Remotes/Misc. Chargers: I added bins to organize my remotes, and misc. chargers that end up in our media center. My son also stores his computer in here so he gets a designated corner. It's time to tackle the toys! If you don't have ki It's time to tackle the toys! If you don't have kiddos or grandkids, skip today :) This is one of those projects I do once a year now that my children are older, but I did at least twice a year when they were little. If your kiddos are still little, I suggest doing this while they are asleep. You can find a few more tips at the link in my bio. And remember, if it's taking too long to complete in one day, break it up. Today we are organizing our dresser! I have a tend Today we are organizing our dresser! I have a tendency to hold onto random things in my dresser. By only allowing myself 30 minutes to get this done, I didn't have time to over think anything. If I thought an item needed donated, I just donated it. End of story. I never miss anything I donate but there are plenty of times I take too long to make the decision. Some people recommend having a "maybe" bin. You don't touch it for 30 days, and if you miss your item, you keep it. If you forgot it existed? You let it go. What do you think? Pantry organization (Day 8). I forgot to add this Pantry organization (Day 8). I forgot to add this one when I was working on the kitchen. If you’ve never organized your pantry or added bins, THIS is your sign to do it! I did this last year and it was my favorite organization project to date! A few steps to help you along the way: ✔️ Pull everything out and wipe those shelves down. ✔️Look at all dates and get rid of expired foods, as well as anything you don’t eat. ✔️Put like items together in bins or baskets. I’m obsessed with clear bins in the pantry so I can see everything. ✔️If using bins, measure your shelves before you buy, to maximize space. ✔️Tape instructions on the bottom or back of bins, if you’re transferring from boxes to bins. ✔️Make sure your system works for your family! #pantryorganizationideas #pantryorganization #pantryorganizationtips #homeorganization #homeorganizationtips #homeorganization101 #organizewithme
